Item. The image shows the Shoshenq I Inscription on the fall of Jerusalem from the temple of Karnak in Luxor, Egypt and recounts the Middle Eastern city-states that were conquered by the Pharaoh. The Louvre Museum was one of the first institutions to use cameras to document archaeological findings.
