The Shah is pictured seated, in a half-length pose, wearing uniform studded with diamonds and with a sword over his lap., Title and date devised by Library staff. On the verso "Photographie Thiébault 31 Boul.t Bonne Nouvelle, 31. en face le Théâtre du Gymnase. Paris. Bacard Fils, Gendre & Succ.r".
