Item. Public fountain in the neighbourhood Abbassia. This building is reproduced with different titles in other postcards of Cairo, either as "fountain" or "sebil", or "school" in Abbassia. The fountain, known as the Sabif of Mustafa Pasha al-Khazindar, was built in 1889 CE by the treasurer under Abbas I of Egypt. The fountain, located in Masoud Street in Abdou Pasha, Abbassia, was demolished in 1950. No Known Copyright Title from item, date devised by Library staff.
