Photographs were published for the Arabian American Oil Company (ARAMCO) by the American printing company Edward Stern & Company Inc. and it was commissioned by the American firm Graham Associate for their client, ARAMCO. The portfolio was sent out as a promotional item for Edward Stern & Company Inc.’s Optak printing process., a hybrid variant on collotype printing.
