A manuscript of ten pages by Shaykh ʻAbd Al-Rahman Āl Zawāwī Āl Mālikī, He wrote this calendar to display the Al Zubarah- city north Qatar- founded by the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa. The calendar explains the hours"thuhar, Assr, mughrab, Isha and fajer", and the sun set and rise; to know the times of the five daily prayers in this town. Al-Zubarah, is a ruined and ancient fort located on the north western coast of the Qatar peninsula in the Madinat ash Shamal municipality, about 105 km from the Qatari capital of Doha.
