    <abstract type="Summary">The albums were compiled by Lieutenant A. K. G. Hogg during his service in British India and the Arabian Gulf between 1910 and 1914 under the British army. Photographs include views of the cities, harbours and nearby places, images of everyday life of the army and of the locals. There are various portraits of the Lieutenant and of his comrades. </abstract>
