This is the first edition, in an excellent copy, on Arabian horses and the history of horse breeding in Europe from the Middle Ages until the 19th century, as well as an extensive history of the Royal private study in Württemberg. Founded by King Wilhelm I in 1817, the study is still famous as the oldest breeding programme of Arabian horses outside Arabia.
