Item. Report surveying the state of the railroads and the gauges used by the Iraqi State Railways and the Trans-Iranian Railway between 1942 and 1944. The report is incomplete; 11 pages are related to Iraq (p. 54-85), while 16 pages cover Iran (p. 73-160). The typewritten text is accompanied by photomechanical prints and technical drawings of locomotives. The report might have been produced both by the British or the American intelligence.
