Each vol. and part has special t.-p. Vol. 1, pt. 1, has both general and special t.-p. The translator is apparently in error in connecting the Abbé Vertot with this work. According to Barbier, Querard and the Brit. mus., it was written by L. E. Dupin, completed and publised by J. de Vayrac. cf. also the dedication (signed Vairac).
