Vintage travel poster issued by the French railway company "Compagnie des chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée" and and the French maritime companiy "Compagnie de navigation mixte" (also known as Compagnie Touache) advertising the services connecting France to Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco. The poster is composed of two views. The main image pictures a ship leaving the Port-Vendres and the second image, framed in a life ring depicts a sailboat in front of the port of Marseille. On the right part some flags, among them the one of the Compagnie de Navigation Mixte. No Known Copyright Title from item, date devised by Library staff. The poster is signed "F. Hugo d'Alési" and inscribed "Imp. H. d'Alési" "Reproduction interdite" (Not to Be Reproduced). In the lower right corner "Affiches simili-aquarelle Ateliers F. Hugo d'Alési, 5 Place Pigalle, Paris".
