Item. Group portrait showing a merchant, possibly the Grand Sharif's permanent representative in Jeddah, and his Circassian slave. The photograph was probably taken between 1884 and 1885 in Jeddah. The negative has had handwork applied and the original background has been substituted completely. No Known Copyright Title and date from item.
