Collection of four full-length seated portraits of Muslim pilgrims from the Greater and Smaller Sunda Islands. The photographs were probably taken by Snouck Hurgronje in Jeddah between 1884 and 1885. The pilgrims are photographed in a courtyard-like space with foliage visible in the background. The negatives had handwork applied., Title and date from item.
