Item. The drawing, originally part of an epic Persian - probably Timurid - manuscript, is an interior scene depicting a prince holding on his knees the head of a man lying on the ground in the presence of a servant and a guardian. No Known Copyright Title and date devised by Library staff. The miniature is pasted on an album page and framed (frame size 20 x 26 cm). Unknown Wax seal and inscription in French on the back of the frame "à mon ami Ludovic Frossart en [...], M. de [Bally], Pâques 1961 ".
