    <abstract type="Summary">Miniature depicting a moment of royal entertainment: two mounted men - one of the riders is actually falling - control the elephants, as they fight before an audience. Servants hold fireworks on poles, prepared to help direct the elephant if necessary. Emperor Jahangir (r.1605–27) overlooks the scene from the balcony at Agra Fort.</abstract>
