"The first part of this work deals with Mohammed the Prophet, the ten illustrations depicting scenes from his life. It was reprinted, complete with the engravings, in 1664 by Wilhelm Serlin in his Chronica Turcica. The second part, containing sixteen allegorical engravings, records a prophecy of the downfall of the Turkish Empire" (Blackmer Sale). - Slightly browned and brownstained throughout; several edge defects remargined (slight loss to text at lower edge of ff.
