Title from caption list in portfolio. Date from item. Plates no. 18a nd 8b in Bilder aus Mekka (Leiden : E. J. Brill, 1889). Photographs are numbered (XVIIIa and XVIIIb). Caption continues "(vergl. Mekka, Bd. II, S. 167ff.)" (see Mekka, vol. II, p. 167 et seq.).
