A manuscript of ten pages by Shaykh ʻAbd Al-Rahman Āl Zawāwī Āl Mālikī, He wrote this calendar to display the Al Zubarah- city north Qatar- founded by the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa. The calendar explains the hours"thuhar, Assr, mughrab, Isha and fajer", and the sun set and rise; to know the times of the five daily prayers in this town. Al-Zubarah, is a ruined and ancient fort located on the north western coast of the Qatar peninsula in the Madinat ash Shamal municipality, about 105 km from the Qatari capital of Doha. It was founded by Al Bin Ali , main and principal Utub tribe in the first half of the eighteenth century. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013. Show less
