During his three-year journey, the Persian prince Nadir Shah visited the Canaries, Ireland, London, France, Naples, Malta, the Cyclades, Turkey, Asia Minor, as well as the Red Sea, Baghdad, Basra and the Arabian Gulf before returning to Calcutta via Bombay. - Binding insignificantly rubbed; very slight brownstaining near end, otherwise clean, wide-margined and untrimmed copy from the library of Duke Max in Bavaria (1808-88), father of Empress Elizabeth of Austria.
