Being the history, ancient and modern, of Oran and Al-Marsa [by John Morgan?] -- Journal of the Spaniards proceedings in their late conquests of Oran and Al-Marsa. Englished from the French originals: with some useful annotations. [M. l'Abbe Boulet]. First ed. pub. in 1735 under title: A voyage to Barbary, for the redemption of captives. According to the Bodleian Library record, this is a translation by Joseph Morgan of Philémon de la Motte's 'Voyage pour la redemption des captifs aux royaumes d'Alger et de Tunis', which was first published in English in the same year as 'Voyage to Algiers and Tunis, for the redemption of captives'. However, other libraries attribute the work to Jean de La Faye. Title page in red and black. Errata appears at end of contents. Woodcut head- and tail-pieces and initial letters.
