The "remarks" are contained in the 'Lettre', translated and published by the Robinsons in 1786 as 'Strictures and remarks on the memoirs of Baron de Tott', by Claude Charles de Peyssonnel.
"Extract from an epistle entitled The Right way: translated from the Books of Hamzah, by Monsieur Venture de Paradis, secretary interpreter of Oriental languages to His Most Christian Majesty, and many years his resident among the Druses": p. [141]-224.
Library copy was considered v. 3 of Memoirs of Baron de Tott, a 2 vol. set published in 1785; listed in 1793 catalogue, p. 79, No. 4312, 8°, 2 vol., as Tott's Memoirs. Binding: full calf, double lettering-piece (black for the title, red for the volume number); rolls in gold on spine.
