First published in 1812 A.D., by the Royal Academy of Sciences at Lisbon, in Vol. II of its collection of documents regarding the history and geography of the nations beyond the seas. Even if the book is not a record of personal observation, it is valuable for the information it supplies" (Cox I, 312). - Withdrawn from the Kansas City Public Library (their stamps on the flyleaf).
