Show moreThe first group of photographs are related to the farms of some important Arabian horse Egyptian breeders such as Ahmed Hamza (Hamdan Stables), Mrs Dani El Barbary (Shams El Asil), Sayed Marei (Al Badeia Stud) and Mr Omar Sakr of Sakr Arabians. A second group covers historical sites in Cairo and Alexandria but also the Sheykh Obeyd Stud farm founded by Lady Anne Blunt (1837-1917) and Prince Muhammad Ali Manial Palace. Other pictures show people and landscapes of the country as well as horse races and dancing horse exhibitions.
