Show morePoster advertising one of the most popular attractions of the Exhibition of 1900 in Paris, called the "Andalousie au temps des Maures", a 5000-square-meter historical theme park in the Trocadero Gardens. The poster depicts a battle scene between a Moorish and a Christian knight. The exhibition "Andalusia in the time of the Moors" referred to the medieval heyday of Moorish Spain and to romances during the reconquest of Andalusia by Christian monarchs.
