Show moreThe album, prepared by the American public relations agengy Sessions & Caminita is a photographic account of the visit of the Crown Prince Saud of Saudi Arabia and his delegation to the United States, at the invitation of President Truman, between January and February 1947. Photographs document the Crown Prince meetings with congressmen and senators as well as his visits to various sites such as factories, schools, and universities in different states, namely the State of Washington, Kansas, Texas, and California. During this visit, Crown Prince Saud of Saudi Arabia was awarded with the Legion of Merit for the service Saudi Arabia rendered to the cause of the Allies during World War II.
